The Danish Esport League

A few weeks ago the qualifier for the best division in Denmark ended. Only six teams had the option to qualify. The six best teams are now gathered in the best division, called DEL elite.

The DEL are hosting three different divisions in Denmark. The six teams that ended first in the groups throughout their qualification group went to the elite division. The teams placed second in their group went to the the 1. division, and the third and fourth placed teams went the the 2. division. The 3 divisions work just like you know in soccer. The two teams placed in the button of the league will drop to the league below. Teams from 1. division will have the opertunity to advance to the elite division, while the two best in the 2. division will advance to the 1. Division.

Our main focus are pointet at the elite division. Since it’s the very top division in DEL, we feel it’s worth broadcasting for our users.
The matches will take place each sunday, meaning three matches each sunday. There might be reschedules and wildcards, and matches could be moved to another date.

The six teams participating in this season of the elite division are:

CAP– Friis, trace, anizz, Lapez & caution

The opening matches in the elite division took place this Sunday with two matches.
SoA faced the team placed second on the Danish ranking list, Gravitas Gaming. While Team Gamehotel faced excello. Both matches was played best of three maps. Here are the results.
